RUFF RYDERS WIN BOXSCORE BOWL 2005!
Thanks to a monster game from Julius Jones the Ruff Ryders made up a
23 point deficit to win the Championship by a single point over their old nemesis The Warriors.
Revenge is sweet for the Ryders GM who lost the 2000 Championship to these same
Warriors and almost as satisfying as thier earlier playoff defeat of the hated MIT in the 2nd round of the playoffs.
"This has been a great year but for us to come back they way we did is just unbelieveable", said Ryders' Head Coach Mase.
"That Julius kid is a helluva player ! "
Warriors coach Pisciotti has not been seen since the gun sounded ending the Ruff
Ryders improbable comeback. He was last sighted walking around aimlessly in the parking lot muttering " Wes Welker??
Who the hell is Wes Welker??" referring to the little white kick returner for the Miami D who ran back a 95-yard TD
that also proved to be a critcal play in the Ryders comeback victory. Miami had not returned a kickoff for a touchdown
in 15 seasons before his effort Sunday.
In what was probably the most wide open playoffs in years the Ryders
were able to outlast the other 5 great teams and savor their 2nd championship in 6 grueling attempts.
